FAQs
How does it work?
Every week, we send teachers a 2-3 minute survey to complete. We ask one question about the big concerns, barriers and difficulties teachers are experiencing. We ask another about a success or highlight of the week. And we ask questions which can be compared across schools to give a sense of teacher wellbeing and satisfaction.
Senior leaders receive a report which gives them an immediate insight into teachers' thinking. They can use is to highlight successes and identify and address problems rapidly.
Why does it work?
What we offer is:
Rapid - We offer school leaders rapid feedback - answers to their questions within hours and days.
Insightful - We use questions we have developed and road-tested in schools.
Encouraging - We identify successes as well as challenges, helping leaders celebrate the progress their team is making.
Easy - We minimise hassle for teachers: the surveys are quick and simple to complete. And we minimise hassle for school leaders: we provide usable insights.
Trustworthy - As a third party, teachers can be honest about what they're really thinking.
Can I add questions to the survey?
On our Insight and Deep Dive packages, we will add 1-3 questions each week to the survey for you. School leaders use this feature to get teachers' immediate reactions to current situations. Leaders have used this to check teachers' reactions to school closures, their perception of safety when school reopened, and feelings about a restructure.
You send us your questions or areas of interest. Within a few days, you'll know what your teachers really think.
Does this create extra workload?
We've designed our approach around teachers' and leaders' lives.
The survey takes no more than 2-3 minutes to complete - and completing it is optional.
We create an insight report, so you don't have to.
We take your concerns and turn them into questions (for the Insight and Deep Dive packages).
What about privacy?
The survey is anonymous. Neither Edxite nor senior leaders will know whose answers are whose.
Because teachers are responding to Edxite - not the school - they can answer honestly.
